The ASTOR Immobilien's preceding company was founded in Hamburg in 1971. In 1991, all sales and consultation activities were transferred to the ASTOR Immobilien. Now, the company can look back on 40 years of service to the clients. In the beginning, ASTOR brokered large-scale building sites for company settlements and housing estates in the new Länder.

After a few years, middle and large transactions of residential properties became our core activity. In the 1990s, ASTOR took on the challenges of the German reunification and the following property market reorientation. During this process, various amounts of local and cooperative housing companies were privatized as part of the Eastern redevelopment, which was financially subsidised by the state.

In the following years, ASTOR was successful in gaining well-known investors for housing stock in Germany. Although the request for properties in the former East declined for a short period after the state stopped the subsidy system, we were involved in large-scale transactions.
